The UK governments Health & Safety Executive (HSE) statistics for 2005/2006 stated that

• 2.0 million people were suffering from an illness they believed was caused or made worse by their current or past work.
• 212 workers were killed at work, a rate of 0.7 per 100 000 workers.
• 328 000 reportable injuries occurred, a rate of 1200 per 100 000 workers (2004/05).
• 30 million days were lost overall (1.3 days per worker), 24 million due to work-related ill health and 6 million due to workplace injury.

This is costing businesses millions in terms of working time lost, claims made against them and increased insurance premiums.

Workplace audits.

 We can assess health & safety in your business, we can identify and assess hazards and identify the strengths and weaknessess of your existing procedures and documentation. Our experienced practitioners will produce a report detailing areas that require improvements fo legal compliance and good practice, they will then work with you to develop an effective plan of action.

We specialise in producing user friendly documentation for your company (safety policy, risk assessments, audits etc).

We will not produce tonnes of unreadable documents!

Risk Assessments

We can help you in carrying out risk assessments (e.g. workplace, manual handling, and display screen equipment). We would rather do this with you than to do them on your behalf as the resulting assessments are likely to be much more useful and relevant.
